Terms of Service

1. About Rentlyst

Rentlyst is an online marketplace that connects buyers, sellers, renters, and service providers. We provide a platform ("the Platform") to facilitate listings and communications between users. Rentlyst is a mediator only — we are not a party to any transaction that occurs between users.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Rentlyst.

3. Rentlyst's Role — We Are a Marketplace Only

Rentlyst provides a window — a digital space where listings are posted and users connect. We do not:

  • Own, manufacture, inspect, or verify any listed item, vehicle, property, or service
  • Guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any listing
  • Participate in or supervise any transaction, handover, or payment
  • Intervene in or mediate disputes between users after a transaction occurs

All transactions are solely between the buyer and seller/host. Rentlyst bears no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or dispute arising from a transaction conducted through the Platform.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy and legality of your listings and the items/services you offer
  • Verifying the identity of the other party before meeting or transacting
  • Exercising personal judgment and care during any exchange
  • Complying with all applicable local, national, and international laws

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to post listings for illegal items, engage in fraud or impersonation, harass other users, or attempt to circumvent the Platform's systems. Rentlyst reserves the right to remove listings or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rentlyst, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Platform, including but not limited to financial loss, property damage, or personal injury arising from any listing or transaction.

7. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. Please review this page periodically.
